Vivaldi 2.1 Released, Install on Ubuntu 18.04/18.10 system

Vivaldi is a feature-rich, next-generation web browser application based on the powerful and open source Chromium project, from which the popular Google Chrome web browser is derived. The application is freely distributed and cross-platform, created by the former CEO of Opera Software, built using modern Web technologies like React, JavaScript, Node.js, and Browserify.

A web browser designed for you
The main goal of the Vivaldi project is to make a highly flexible, low on resources and extremely fast web browser software that works across all mainstream computer operating systems, a web browser that is rich in functionality and designed for you, the user.

Vivaldi 2.1 launches with improved Quick Commands

Vivaldi Team launched Vivaldi 2.0 just about a month ago. After a phenomenal response to Vivaldi 2.0, we are moving ahead swiftly. Today, Vivaldi 2.1. This time around our focus is squarely on Quick Commands.

At Vivaldi, Vivaldi team do not have a blanket approach to productivity. To be effective, a productivity tool needs to fit your specific needs. And that’s where Vivaldi’s flexibility comes in.

Users need their sense of freedom, and most of us want to do things ‘our way.’ This holds true when it comes to navigation and how you interact with your browser.

As more and more people are spending a significant amount of time online, options that help optimize the way we browse are always welcome. Explore these new additions to Quick Commands and discover just what a great productivity tool it can be.
