The Russian hacker goes by handle "Nastra" arrested in Bulgaria
In Varna a Russian citizen named Alexander Zhukov was arrested. This hacker is known Online as Nastra.
He was taken under arrest for a month, then he should be extradited to the United States.
American Authorities accuse the hacker of fraud-cheating views of advertising videos. The hacker's actions caused damage of more than $ 7 million. He faces up to 20 years in prison.
Alexander started his hacking activity in the late 90's. In 2010 Zhukov moved to Bulgaria, buying an apartment in Varna. Few months ago he returned to hacking activity. For 20 thousand dollars a month, Nastra swirled views of videos for an American company using bots.
He approached the business creatively. Zhukov did not infect other people's computers with a virus, but bought about 50 servers and organized the cheating himself.
However, soon the hacker had a conflict with the intermediary because of the money. As a result of resentment, he launched the server at full capacity, views jumped to several millions a day, and the customer eventually realized that he was being deceived.
