Introduction

Hey guys welcome to the course and in this section, we are going to learn how to install OS X on windows using virtualbox. Hope you have installed Virtualbox on your system. If you haven't, then please check our previous article on the same.

Installing MAC OS X on Windows using VirtualBox

Step 1 - Create a new virtual machine and create a new harddisk

Step 2 - Create a new hard disk and specify the capacity. You can select any capacity.

Step 3 - Finish everything and go to virtualmachine settings (make sure you have selected the machine) select system tab in the left-hand side.

Step 4 - Deselect EFI (It will be selected by default. Uncheck it)

Step 5 - Remove the hard disk and add the hard disk from the download section.

Step 6 - Select the ISO File by browsing it.

Step 7 - Boot the system by clicking on 'Start'

Step 8 - Switch to fullscreen by going to View->Switch to FullScreen.

Step 9 - Select language

Step 10 - You will be on Install OS X screen.

Step 11 - Select Utilities -> Disk Utility

Step 12 - Erase the preset harddisk

Step 13 - Exit everything and install normally.

Step 14 - Select your keyboard style and you are ready to go.
