Feather-compatible FPGAs @TmmMcci @MCCI #LoRaWAN #IoT @TinyFPGA @latticesemi @risc_v
These prototypes by Terrill Moore, CEO, MCCI look really cool – its an ICE40 Ultra Plus FPGA, with the RISC-V core running on it. If that were not enough, he even put some sensors on there! Looks like a BMP680 Temp/Pressure/Humidity/Gas sensor, a light/color sensor, accelerometer, and maybe a microphone in the middle. There’s also an SMA/uFL connector at the end, is it going to also perform SDR to implement a LoRaWAN transceiver? We.are.curious, looks like quite a beast!
Thx @adafruit for the nice post https://t.co/AO4wjh538J.
As to "where's the radio" — it's on the back. This is only a 4-layer PCB, but @AQSinc did a great job of hot lot fabbing this, 7 calendar days from "go" to "got it"!
The radio is working, need to fix gateway!… pic.twitter.com/OFusPURviV

The Adafruit Feather Wing … Is a thing – Adafruit. Not just for our 100+ boards (they’re open-source!), but also for an entire ecosystem of partners and makers, making Wings and Feather-compatibles.
