Copyright & the CJEU: an afternoon of discussion ... and copyright fun!

There is now exactly one month to go before the publication of Copyright and the Court of Justice of the European Union (Oxford University Press), a new monograph which discusses the role and action of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) in the copyright field, as well as the legacy of this growing body of case law.

To celebrate in part the launch of the book but, above all, to take yet another opportunity to delve into what is possibly everyone's favourite topic of conversation, ie copyright & the CJEU, IPKat readers are warmly invited to a few hours of discussion on the impact of CJEU action on the construction of both EU and national copyright laws.

This event, which will be in the form of a panel discussion, will take place in the afternoon of Tuesday, 26 March 2019 and will be kindly hosted by Bird&Bird at its London offices.

The panel will feature:

With a contribution from Alberto Bellan.

The event will start at 16:30 (registrations from 16:00) and end at around 18:30, followed by drinks and canapés.

The official hashtag for the event will be #cjeucopyright.
