Digi-Key and Adafruit celebrate four years of business! @digikey @makerio
Time sure does fly when you’re doing great work.
Ladyada had been using Digi-Key products for years and Adafruit had been using them as a supplier from its earliest days, so it was a big moment for Adafruit when Digi-Key became a distributor. And still, when we first made the announcement we couldn’t have imagined the kind of projects we’d end up doing together.
Adafruit has a great family of resellers and distributors, and it goes without saying that Digi-Key has been a special and important collaborator. Supporting causes that are close to home, like donating Circuit Playgrounds to Girls Who Code, or providing incredible opportunities like a behind the scenes scoop of Formula E racing, Digi-Key has been integral in many of Adafruit’s biggest efforts. The Maker to Market video series, and the ongoing All the Internet of Things, were all made possible with Digi-Key’s support.
The list goes on, but suffice it to say that between these, Digi-Key’s AdaBox involvement, and all our other efforts, the two companies have worked together to provide a ton of great products and learning content to the maker community.
Adafruit is looking forward to the many years ahead as we come up with even more exciting and revolutionary offerings for our community and customers.
