Using @adafruitio with ESPHomeYAML #IoTuesday #HomeAutomation
[Boris Hajuk] has been hacking on ESPHomeYAML and has it working with Adafruit IO. Specifically, he’s been experimenting with using Adafruit IO’s MQTT topics to send data from his sensor nodes to Adafruit IO (for logging, and debugging). Custom firmware for the ESP8266/ESP32 can be created in minutes using a YAML template to describe a sensor setup. ESPHomeYaml can also set up devices as an extension to home-assistant.
