Google Fit is getting sleep tracking charts, rolling out dark mode widely
Google has announced several new features for its Google Fit app. After rolling out dark mode to limited users last month, it will roll out widely starting from next week. It already offers sleep tracking when you connect it to third-party apps, now it is adding improved sleep insights in the form of new charts that show you your sleep patterns over time. "You’ll also be able to add, edit or access your sleep history through the journal," said Google. Android app already shows Workout Routes, a summary of your workouts along with a map of your route, whether you ran, hiked or biked. Now it will be available for the iPhone app for workouts actively tracked on your Wear OS by Google smartwatch, Apple Watch or other connected apps. Official changelog also mentions improvements to the UI, and minor bug fixes for both the platforms. Google said that these features will roll out gradually over the next week for Android and iOS platforms. Source
