Protests to save over 2000 trees in Mumbai's Aarey is snowballing as people across the sections coming across against the metro project. Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam said that It is wrong to say that only a section is protesting and in fact, everyone wants to save the trees. “Aarey is a lung of Mumbai. It is a wrong decision to bring Metro project there. Development should have a human face. He also suggested that the government should use the land of Kanjurmarg instead of Aarey.
