Automated (Scripted) Configuration of Raspberry Pi Access Point #piday #raspberrypi @Raspberry_Pi
Thanks so much to Terrance for sending in this tip! Terrance writes:
Hi- I’m a Linux & Network Engineer. I used a Pi to prototype automating the configuration of a wireless access point. After the project was completed, I felt the repo had use beyond just using Pi’s to cover WiFi dead-zones, but was an inexpensive way to use single-board Linux computers to train practical networking skills. All key parameters are
abstracted into user-configurable variables in a centralized variables file which all dependent scripts source. Anyhoo, my code is all well commented in the repo and allows folks to see how the gears turn inside an access point. In addition to the README.md, I’ve created. a Wiki. on Github and a
YouTube demo of executing the code.
