What is WP RSS Aggregator?

As the banner above reads, this plugin is a powerful solution to boost your site visitor’s engagement and grow your following through added exposure and new referrals. By adding more value to your visitors every time they visit your site, be it through curated content for a particular niche or sharing your videos without having to visit Youtube, they will be more likely to come back and share what they found.

Here are some real-life examples of how WP RSS Aggregator can help you.

Become an authority in your field of choice through curated content, as we’ve done with sites such as Euro Finance Blogs – you can read about our journey to becoming an influencer in this niche.

Use it to supplement your own blog with other quality content from top sources and lesser known ones. This helps to engage and grow your audience. It will also boost your SEO by generating lots of new backlinks to your site and enhancing your online presence to gain more trust.

Build a portfolio of your latest articles, videos, podcasts, etc and display it anywhere across your site. Get the word out about your content or that of others, no matter where it may be on the web.

Make sure your team is reading the best curated content that you want them to read by gathering it all in one place. This will help to nurture company culture, shared values and vision.

The Pro Plan includes the most valuable premium add-ons for WP RSS Aggregator. You can use the premium templates (including a customisable grid) to display articles, videos and more, or even import items as WordPress posts.

If you’re wondering how this plugin even came about, here’s a word from Jean (who is also the founder of WP Mayor), more than 7 years after this journey began.

WP RSS Aggregator started off as my first serious attempt at learning how to build plugins. I built it to scratch my own itch; it allowed me to supplement my blog posts on WP Mayor with news from other sites. RSS had already been pronounced dead by then, however time seems to have proven the naysayers wrong as RSS feeds remain the best way to import content from other websites and platforms including YouTube, Twitter and Amazon. I’d like to thank all the people who encouraged me to release the plugin on the WordPress repository as well as the developers who came after me and really took the plugin to the next level by building excellent add-ons that have guaranteed the survival and growth of WP RSS Aggregator thus far. I’ve just finished building my latest aggregation website and I therefore remain a happy user myself and am really looking forward to the new features coming in the next few months.

And here’s a word from CTO Miguel Muscat on what he’s been working on:

I had been away from direct development on WP RSS Aggregator for a bit over 2 years after having been with the plugin from almost the beginning. To come back to it after all that time is a bit nostalgic but also very exciting. Both myself and our team have now grown in capability and ambition, and we’re finally taking the time to make improvements that some might say are long overdue. But I’m certain that what we have in store will exceed expectations! We’re improving the plugin’s performance, making it more robust, giving it a much needed facelift, and under the hood I am personally refactoring away the legacy code in preparation for WP RSS Aggregator 5.0!

Make sure to enter the raffle above to get your hands on this powerful plugin!
