Huawei Launches the Huawei Vision TV with Pop-up Camera

At its launch event for the Mate 30 series, Huawei has also launched the Huawei Vision TV. The TV, which looks to have really tiny bezels all around has a 4K Quantum Dot screen, which means users can expect great picture quality from the Huawei Vision.
Apart from that, the Huawei Vision will also act as the smart home hub for users, and will allow users to control their HiLink compatible smart home devices, and the TV will apparently be “always listening” even in standby mode, which is something I’m not entirely sure I’m comfortable with.
The 4K Quantum Dot screen on the Huawei Vision comes with 100% NTSC color gamut for better color reproduction, and features up to 120Hz refresh rates, so you can expect smoother animations.
For sound, the TV comes with a professional 8+1+1 sound system and creates a 5.1 sound system with features like sound field modelling, and beam control.
All that said, one of the stand out features of the Huawei Vision TV is definitely the pop-up camera on the top-bezel, which can be used to make video calls with Huawei’s AI Video Call feature. The camera also comes with face tracking and face recognition, so clearly, Huawei has packed in a lot of tech here.
The Huawei Vision will be available in three variants: 55-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch as of now, but the company did say that more sizes will be added in the future. Pricing and availability details for the Huawei Vision have not been announced yet, but we’ll update this article when we get more details around the TV.
