IFA 2019 is seeing a lot of launches and announcements. Asus announced a laptop with a 300Hz display, and the ROG Phone II Ultimate Edition, Amazon launched a bunch of stuff, and Razer refreshed its Blade Stealth with 10th-gen processors; and now, Chinese company Lenovo has launched four new laptops under its Yoga line-up.

Lenovo Yoga C940

The Yoga C940 is a 14-inch convertible laptop that comes with a stylus that can be garaged in the chassis of the laptop — this is also how the stylus charges, which is pretty cool. The laptop has an all-metal design, and comes with an exclusive Q-control mode that puts the laptop into Intelligent Cooling Mode that optimises the battery life and auto-adjusts the performance based on the tasks being performed on the laptop. Speaking of the battery, Lenovo is claiming a whopping 17.5 hours of battery life on a single charge. The C940 will come with 10th-gen Core i7 processor, WiFi 6, Dolby Vision, and a Dolby Atmos certified speaker system.

The Lenovo C940 is priced at €1499 for the 14-inch model, and €1899 for the 15-inch model. The 14-inch C940 will be available later this month, while the 15-inch variant will be made available in October 2019.

Lenovo Yoga S740

The Lenovo Yoga S740 comes with up to 9th-gen Core i7 processors, and packing GTX 1650 graphics for powerful gaming performance. Moreover, the laptop comes with a 15-inch FullHD HDR display, with all of this packed inside a sleek all-metal chassis. There’s also Windows Hello support with the dedicated IR camera for logging in to the laptop without having to enter passwords. There’s also a 14-inch variant with an optional 4K display. The IR camera also performs a bunch of other cool functions — it will automatically log the laptop off if the user walks away for a while. Also, if a user walks away while watching a video, the laptop will automatically pause the video, and automatically resume when they return. Lenovo is claiming that the 14-inch S740 will offer 14 hours of battery life as well.

The Lenovo Yoga S740 is priced at €899 for the 14-inch variant, and €1,399 for the 15-inch variant. It will be available later this month.
