A solar garden light chip: weekend die-shot #DieShot @Zeptobars

Prolific chip investigator Zeptobars posts a die shot of a chip found in a solar garden light.

It is interesting, as most chips of this type are specially manufactured to perform limited functions vs. the more general purpose chips used in more expensive projects. This chip likely cost a few pennies, to ensure the garden lights were as inexpensive as possible.

Zeptobars does not dive into which parts of the chip may have which functions, but the control circuitry appears limited.
