We’re going to highlight entries posted on Hackaday.io two at a time. Here are today’s entries:
Cedar Grove RoverWing

The RoverWing is an Adafruit Feather-compatible module that can be used to transport the Trinket M0 into the Feather ecosystem. The wing connects the Trinket’s five GPIO pins to the Feather pin-out and provides optional LiPo battery support. On-board jumpers reconfigure the Trinket M0 pins for general I/O, I2C, and UART configurations. Jumper-enabled LiPo battery management circuitry accommodates battery capacity of 100mAhr or greater. The battery charging rate is fixed at 100mA. The Feather-compatible ENABLE (EN) power control pin controls battery power to the attached Trinket M0 board.
OctosonarX2 Featherwing

This is a branch off from https://hackaday.io/project/19950-hc-sr04-i2c-octopus-octosonar Designing an updated board compatible with the Adafruit Featherwing ecosystem The existing design is 2.7″ x 1.8″. The Feather footprint is 2″ x 0.9″ which is never going to fit so this will be an under-wing so will be 2.0 x 1.9. Smaller than the original so there is some squishing to do, especially if I want to keep the 9×4 and 1×2 0.1″ headers for the sensors etc. Board should be able to operate standalone and replace the existing design for non feather applications.
