Sonic The Hedgehog finally received an updated trailer, while the movie Fantasy Island teases a screwed up tropical escape. From Paramount Pictures’ The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run to Netflix’s Selena The Series, here are the top movies and TV shows to keep on your radar.


Fantasy Island



What if your dreams can come true on one vacation retreat? Fantasy Island, a thriller about people who get to take revenge or seek closure, is a chilling mind trip that blurs the lines of reality. Fantasy Island premieres in theaters on Valentine’s Day.


The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run



Gary goes missing in The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. When the beloved pet gets “snailnapped,” SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star go on the craziest adventure where Keanu Reeves appears as a chill tumbleweed and they encounter “the lost city of Atlantic City.” The animated film hits theaters in May 2020.


SCOOB!



The Mystery Machine crew is back in the animated movie SCOOB!. Shaggy and Scooby end up in a creepy spaceship and Velma, Daphne, and Fred need to rescue their friends and solve the case before it’s too late. SCOOB! is coming to theaters in summer 2020.


Sonic The Hedgehog



After some backlash, the new Sonic The Hedgehog trailer steps up to fan’s expectations. When the superpowered creature shows up to Earth, he has to protect humans from the evil Doctor Eggman (Jim Carrey) and not get caught. Sonic The Hedgehog premieres in theaters on Feb. 14.


Seberg



Seberg is Amazon Studios’ upcoming thriller focused on the life of Jean Seberg (Kristen Stewart), an actress who was targeted by the FBI in the ’60s. When Seberg decides to support the civil rights movement, she becomes harassed by the government and tries to gain back control of her life. Seberg is coming soon to select theaters.


Selena: The Series



A series about Queen of Tejano music Selena Quintanilla is coming to Netflix next year. The Walking Dead’s Christian Serratos stars as the famous singer in the new show, which doesn’t have a set debut date yet.
