Nine Inch Nails’ Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross recorded a spacey version of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars?” for the HBO series Watchmen. The instrumental song, which strips down the Hunky Dory piece to a plinky keyboard line and airy synths, appears in the superhero drama’s recently aired seventh episode, “An Almost Religious Awe.”
