On-Skin Device that Works as Personal Air Conditioner Developed by University of Missouri #WearableWednesday
When you have a fever or you’re sweating it out in a gym, it’s important to control your body heat. There are few methods available for lowering body temperature but they aren’t very practical because they require external power source.
Now, scientists at the University of Missouri have developed a material that can work as “wearable air conditioning,” cooling the skin by about 11°F. The on-skin device can act as a substrate for flexible body monitoring electronics.
