Jack McKew’s blog outlines getting started using the Python programming language. Python is one of the fastest growing languages due to its ease of use and ability to run on mainframes to microcontrollers.

The best part about Python is the community and abundance of free, open source packages that you can utilise to not re-invent the wheel when solving problems.
