Cisco expands Technology Portfolio

Cisco has expanded its small business product portfolio with new wireless access points, routers, switches, unified communications and partner-managed service offerings. These new solutions claim to drive customer productivity and growth by allowing small businesses to get the most out of smartphones, tablets, and cloud applications and services. Cisco's product innovations are ensuring that businesses of all sizes can keep pace with the needs of their customers by staying connected with the right secure, reliable network. The new suite of small business networking and communication offerings builds on Cisco's dedication to provide partners who sell Cisco solutions to small businesses with a complete portfolio of purpose-built products and solutions to create the right networks for their customers.

In addition to this, Cisco will be running its bi-annual Advantage Now! Road Show in India in May with the focus on up-skilling its partner base to help small and medium-sized customers (SMB) maximize mobility and cloud technologies. Spread over a month, the event will cover 8 cities and reach out to approximately 500 partners across India and SAARC.

Arun Dharmalingam, VP, Partner Led Velocity & Distribution Sales, Cisco India & SAARC said, "SMBs represent a very important part of our business and partners are Cisco's primary route to market. The Advantage Now road show that we conduct twice a year is an important vehicle for us to keep our partners up to date with our technologies. We also help our partners on the business side and have helped many to increase profitability."

"Cisco's innovations are helping to ensure that businesses of all sizes can keep pace with the speed of their customers by helping them build the right network, securely and reliably. Mobility and cloud are two important care-abouts for our SMB customers with the number of mobile-connected devices expected to exceed the world's population in 2012, and the adoption of cloud services by SMBs expected to hit 98 percent by 2015," added Arun.
