dmMediaConverter 1.0.0 in Ubuntu and derivatives...

dmMediaConverter is a software based on FFMpeg, which allows us to easily convert our audio and video files in popular formats. Among the main features of dmMediaConverter is its ability to merge or split a video file formats include subtitles in srt, ass, ssa, mov_text, and dvdsub and much more. With the new version 1.0.0 of dmMediaConverter are plenty of new features including support for high pixel density display HiDPI and new presets for audio and video.

dmMediaConverter 1.0.0 adds a new option that allows us to play an audio file or video with an external player, introduced the new mode Converter with which we can convert media files much faster.
Also note the new filter DeShake and the new Tag editor for audio files that allows, besides correct the problem of lack of package ffmpeg in Ubuntu 04.14 and later (FFMpeg is, however, I include in the precompiled binaries of the software).

dmMediaConverter 1.0.0 is available for Debian, Ubuntu and thanks to the deb package available on this page.
For other Linux distributions, we can use dmMediaConverter 1.0.0 without any installation thanks to the precompiled binaries provided by the developers of the software.
