LXDE: LXPanel 0.7.0 Release
The developers of the LXDE desktop environment they are working in the maintenance and development of the current stable version that the future version LXQt.
Is being released the new version 0.8.0 of LXQt, update which will include a more stable desktop environment including also some new features, even new to LXDE, which has landed in these days the new version 0.7.0 of LXPanel. LXPanel is one of the main components of LXDE, providing a lightweight and customizable with dedicated third-party plugins. The new version 0.7 of LXPanel as well as various fixes include the new plugin "launchtaskbar" capable of combining various links in the panel (launchbar) with the system tray (taskbar).
News for the plugin "Pager" replaced by the new wnckpager, LXPanel 0.7.0 also allows us to drag and drop application shortcuts in the panel automatically creating the connection, quick launch (functionality is also available from the menu by clicking on an application with the right mouse button and choosing "Add to Panel"). Renamed button to configure the plugin from the "Edit" in the "Properties" LXPanel 0.7.0 includes the integration of LibFM allowing developers to create plugins for quick access to directories, partitions etc..
