To install Foxit Reader 1.1 in Ubuntu and just download the deb package from this page or just type in a terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/lffl
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install foxit-reader
after installation just start Foxit Reader menu.
