For decades, China has maintained a non-interventionist approach to foreign policies; however, the country is now taking steps to counter terrorism within its border and beyond. Since implementing nation-wide reforms in regards of farms and the financial sector in the 1980’s and 1990’s, China has been the leading economic power in Asia. Now, it will likely also be the leading military power.
