A Magical Hocus Pocus Winifred Sanderson Costume

Redditor Manuel D’Andrea, who’s part of the Midnight Costumes cosplay group, captures one of the best parts about cosplay in his before and after collage showing off his Hocus Pocus Winifred Sanderson costume: you can completely transform yourself. It takes hours of making and crafting, a carefully styled wig, makeup, and maybe dental appliances, but you can turn yourself into a character you admire. Manuel didn’t spare any details with his take on Winifred’s costume either; the fabric, the book, everything is covered with little touches to match the ones shown in the film.

You can see a couple of images of the details below and even more shots of the costume at Facebook. There aren’t any WIP shots, but you can still appreciate the craftsmanship and work that went into replicating Winifred’s dress and book prop.
