Clover Brings Chrome-Style Tabs to Windows Explorer.
   Clover is an extension of the Windows Explorer, to add multi-tab functionality similar to Google Chrome browser. After install Clover, you will be able to open multiple folders within the same window, and you can also add folder bookmarks.

New cycle of development

• First, we're happy that the development is finally resumed again with version 3.1.0 :)
• The new version is faster—but seems a rewrite (refactoring)—so some features of older version are not reimplemented yet.

DIY/Do It Yourself: Upgrade to the Latest Release

Requirements 7-Zip, NPP/Notepad++ or other text editor, PortableApps.com Launcher Generator/PAL, PortableApps.com Installer/PAI.

1. Get the latest portable app. template, and extract the content with 7-Zip.
2. Get the latest Clover release.
3. Put it in the same folder as the extracted template, in our example C:\0TEST, then extract the installer with 7-Zip to CloverPortable\App\Clover folder,
   
   
4. Browse into App\Clover folder, delete:
   • CloverAss.exe, Uninst.exe files,
   • ico, data folders.
5. Look up version from Clover.exe "Properties" window,
   
6. Browse to CloverPortable\App\AppInfo and open appinfo.ini file with NPP. Replace the [Version] section with the latest version number. Make sure the PackageVersion entry is in 4 place digit, eg. 3.4.5.07201 not just 3.4.5,

7. Run PAL, paste the template folder address C:\0TEST\CloverPortable, and click Go—a new launcher will be created,
   
8. Test the new launchers by following this guide.
9. When all is OK, then delete the CloverPortable\Data folder and run PAI, paste the package folder address C:\0TEST\CloverPortable, and click Go—to create the installer package.
   
10. Use the installer package to upgrade your portable application. Don't forget to at least backup your Data folder before any upgrade :)
11. If you find any changes that's not handled by the launcher, consult the PAL help file to modify the launcher yourself or ask for our paid upgrade support.

Portability Notes

• Clover do not have portable mode. It stores its settings in Windows registry and data folders while running.
• Make sure it exits cleanly before plugging out your thumbdrive.
• You can help by sending request to the official developer to add "portable mode" to their future release.
