eInk nRF52 Watch Badge CircuitPython arturo182

Talk about bleeding edge technology!

@arturo182 posts on Twitter about his latest nRF based board build for the 35th Chaos Communications Congress (35C3), held this year 27-30 December in Leipzig, Germany.

The board is the size of a smartwatch and can accomodate a wristband. It uses a nice eInk display and a Nordic nRF52840 processor with wireless. And how is it programmed? Using the Adafruit CircuitPython language!

CircuitPython 4.0.0-alpha just came out with support for Nordic nRF52 chips and multiple languages. And this release does lack some of the basic plumbing as an alpha. But arturo182 is quite the Maker and got it up and running in record time.

Check out the build in progress on Twitter. Great work!
