The Public Radio is a radio pre-tuned to one local US public radio station, making it easy to use and a bit retro. Introduced in 2014, it was offered on successful Kickstarters twice. The radios went on sale via retail in mid 2017. The pricing of the units has varied a bit, and this is directly related to the cost to produce each unit.
